Arlington is located between Dallas and Ft. Worth and is part Dallas–Fort Worth metropolitan area. As of 2011 its population was 374,000 making it the 7th largest city in Texas. Nearby cities include Irving, Dallas, Mansfield, Ft. Worth and North Richland Hills.
